Costa Coffee Drive Thru's Launched in UK
The coffee chain Costa coffee is launching 75 'drive-thru' coffee outlets in the UK. This move follows a trial of the new format coffee outlets over summer 2011 and comes as the coffee industry both in coffee vending and high street coffee outlets becomes more popular and more sophisticated. The demand for cafe style coffee in the UK is ever expanding.
Whitbread, Costa Coffee's owner, explained that they are continuing to grow their coffee drinks business and comes in the wake of their launch of the Flat White Coffee and other speciality coffee drinks.
